Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience.

Membership in a fellowship is open to any interested individual. You can contact a fellowship directly by using the links below. Some fellowships have local chapters in our districts that organize local events that you can join.

Rotary Wine Appreciation Fellowship

Our objective is to learn more about wine, wine and food pairings and any other topics related to the appreciation of wine so that our own appreciation of good wine will be enhanced. We will accomplish that by sharing our own knowledge and experiences and by learning from the many wine experts and knowledgeable Rotarians throughout the world.

Motorcycling Rotarians

IFMR offers the unique opportunity to travel the world with real friends. We all should use this tool more often. And there are still a lot white spots on the map.

Rotarian Fellowship of Quilters and Fiber Artists

Love Is a Blanket

Honorary Rotarian Phyllis Giersch, of the Rotary Club of Madera, California, USA, conceived the idea for a Rotarian Fellowship of Quilters and Fiber Artists in 2003. Phyllis is a professional quilter and former owner of a quilt store called The Patchwork Pansy, in Madera. She is the founder of the Heart of California Quilt Guild and has taught quilting classes locally and in Australia. Phyllis has been highly recognized for her work.
The goal for this fellowship is to share ideas, techniques, articles, service projects, and stories of interest regarding the fiber arts.

“…Just as the pieces of the quilt are sewn together with interlocking stitches, all people are linked together in the fabric of our world. In a way, the patchwork quilt represents all the different people of the world. We are individual in our attitudes, life-styles, and backgrounds, yet we share so much of what it means to be human.”

Bandey-Hefler Fellowship Exchange

A Fun-FIlled Exchange Between D7910 & London-Area Rotarians

Since 1977, approximately 20 Rotarian couples have been traveling across the Atlantic from England to the U.S.followed by 20 couples going from the U.S. to England in the subsequent year. During their 12-day stay the visitors will be hosted by 3 consecutive Rotarians, the idea being to ensure sampling a variety of British/American life and to meet as many families as possible. Besides showing the guests traditional sightseeing sights, the hosts provide a unique view of their country that normal tourists would never experience. The visitors also found it interesting to see the different way in which Rotary Club meetings are conducted in the host country. The custom is for the host family to cover all costs (meals and entertainment) and in return, when they themselves travel, they will be treated likewise. The only costs the travelers bear are airfare. Those that have been fortunate enough to participate in these exchanges have no doubt that it is international Rotary Fellowship in action and at its very best.

Rotary International Disability Advocates

Diversity and Inclusion of Disabled People

Rotary District 7910 has formed a committee dedicated towards the diversity and inclusion of the disabled people in Rotary.

The Diverse Abilities United committee has set goals to focus on helping in improving disability awareness, inclusion, accessibility, policies, and support not only for the Clubs in the district but also for Rotary International.

The group believes that disabilities are an important part of the diversity and inclusion but do not get the recognized attention or understanding they deserve.  They also believe that this is not just a local challenge to overcome rather it is a global issue.

The committee meets every Monday at 8 AM and welcomes new members who have an interest in disability advocacy whether they are disabled or non-disabled, Rotarians or not, or from anywhere in the world.  New ideas/perspectives are always encouraged.  Some of the activities that we are working on include social media, presentations, videos, speakers, podcasts, writing articles, and so much more.

As famously said by John F Kennedy, “A rising tide raises all ships.” Diversity and Inclusion is beneficial for everyone.
