Rotaplast Cebu Mission

Saving Smiles, Changing Lives.

Rotaplast International, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in 1992 which provides free reconstructive surgeries and treatment to under-privileged children for cleft lip and palate deformities throughout the world.  In their respective societies, these kids are often shunned and considered cursed.

What District 7930 is doing

For the past 20 years clubs in our District have supported this international service mission. In the past five years we have again been sending our non-medical volunteers to volunteer specifically at the Cebu, Philippines mission. It is our goal to perform 100 surgical procedures, bringing total surgeries sponsored by District 7930 to over 1,350!  All medical equipment and supplies are shipped with the team, and the $65,000 mission cost ($600 per surgery) will be funded by private donations and our district’s Rotary Clubs.  With your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of children restoring their dignity, and giving them the ability to smile, swallow, eat, breathe and speak more normally.

The Current Situation

Because of the global pandemic, Rotaplast is not doing missions at this time. Once it is safe to resume missions, it will take 6-9 months to schedule new missions. We want to be ready to go to take care of all the children who have been waiting for us.
