Lyme Disease Prevention and Tick Safety
The No Time for Lyme project seeks to educate people that live within District 7780 about Lyme Disease prevention and tick safety. Almost everyone in this region knows someone who has been affected by Lyme Diseases, suffering from its range of symptoms. The disease is difficult to diagnose due to the mechanisms of the bacteria that cause the disease. We seek to produce educational materials to be distributed to lower the incidence of Lyme disease in the region. We have begun by creating a Tick Safety coloring book that is currently being distributed throughout the district.

Our members have recorded this reading of our coloring book to highlight the project and to provide a read-along for those who are coloring along (click on the video to the right). We have made it available for viewing on our YouTube page as well as on our Tick Safety website.
